Are my notes uploaded anywhere?

Not by default. Priviot Notes stores notes locally and encrypted on your device. Optional sync encrypts content client-side before it leaves the device.

Do I need to register to use Priviot Notes?

No. Local core features do not require an account. An account is only needed for optional, encrypted sync.

Is Priviot Notes available for Windows?

Yes. Priviot Notes is available for macOS and Windows, Windows via the Microsoft Store. An iOS version is planned; a date will only be announced once it is firm.

How does synchronization work?

Content is encrypted on your device before being stored in the sync system. The sync passphrase is intentionally separate from your regular Priviot account password.

Is Priviot Notes free to use?

Priviot Notes offers a free basic feature set. Advanced features may be offered as paid later.
